Thank you for taking the time to visit us today. The very idea of Quadratic Digital is something that has been on my mind since I was a young boy growing up in the rolling hills of Carroll County, Maryland - just northwest of what became CMS Central Office in Woodlawn. I built my first webpage when I was ten years old out of plain HTML and hosted it on AltaVista, unbeknownst to my grandparents. In high school, I spent the first class each day of what would become my senior year redesigning the school's website from square one. I didn't realize it at the time, but my interest in technology would take me on a lifelong journey I never could have imagined.
My time as a technologist working to improve public healthcare for millions of Americans has been nothing short of amazing. I've been fortunate to have worked with what I believe to be some of the greatest minds the world has to offer. I have also had the opportunity to see the issues our people are facing first-hand. The decision to start Quadratic was not taken lightly. I truly believe we are a talented group of individuals who can - and will - effectuate change.
Early in the development stages, we were faced with something of a paradoxical question. What are our core values? This was very easy to answer - but also very challenging. Four values stood out to us that would answer the bigger question: how do we tell people that we care? How do we let our clients, our prospective employees, and the world at large know that we want the best for them? Our answer - through Honesty, Integrity, Respect, and Empathy.
I've worked with hundreds, if not thousands of different individual contributors in my career. The best teams I've worked with have operated closely, and felt like a second family. It is my hope that our Quadratic Family always feels that way to those who aspire to join our team. It is also my hope that as a services provider to public agencies and non-profits, we are able to take care of our fellow Americans. A Government for the people, of the people, by the people, comes with a great responsibility for civic duty. Let us not forget that we must look out for each other in any way we can.
To each and every one of you - thank you. Whether you are a prospective client, a potential team member, or just a visitor swinging through - we appreciate you.
Warmest Regards,
